In this three-part series, KiniBiz takes a look at the newly opened klia2. We start with asking how expensive klia2 really is and investigating the multiple angles and answers. We move on to look at the curious case of AirAsia which seems to have been unenthusiastic about the move, presumably in protest of a possible increase in charges although the new facilities are much needed to cater to a new business model. In the final piece we spend an evening at klia2. Kinibiz was on hand to to witness the landmark moment and took the opportunity to check out the RM4 billion digs to get a first impression of the place.
