Bursa Malaysia has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Bhd today due to the surge in its share price and volume traded recently.
In a statement today, the local bourse advised investors to take note of the company’s response to the UMA query, which will be posted on the Bursa Malaysia website, when making their investment decisions.
At 3.58pm today, the share is trading 20 sen lower at RM9.05 per share. Its share price has been rising steeply from RM7.31 per share on Dec 10 to hitting at least a five-year high of RM9.25 yesterday.
