Majupadu Development Sdn Bhd has announced its latest mixed development project, Bandar Newpark in Kluang.
The 100-hectare project comprises a 36.4 hectare commercial zone, which is accessible from Jalan Batu Pahat and a 10-minute drive from the North-South Expressway, it said in a statement.
In a preview held at Kluang Mall today, Majupadu founder and managing director Tey Ah Kau said Newpark is an opportunity to upgrade Kluang as it will be the town’s largest commercial project.
“There will be a hotel-cum-convention centre with a skybar, a hypermarket, a commercial boulevard shop, an office area, an education hub, an expo-trade centre and a park which will be linked to the commercial and future residential areas.
“The first phase of Newpark is scheduled to start in 2015 and its design is a collaboration with award-winning Singapore-based green design firm, Pomeroy,” he said.
