The economy seems on solid ground despite current headwinds, yet pressing concerns remain over the 1Malaysia Development Bhd controversy and the political scandal that have erupted from the RM2.6 billion in “donations” received by the prime minister. With so much uncertainty in the air, where does the nation go from here?

As the nation celebrates 58 years of independence this year, the overall economic growth story has been relatively remarkable. However the same could hardly be said of other aspects of the nation.
