Business radio station BFM will be holding a food and beverage (F&B) conference titled ‘BFM Enterprise Takeaway 2015’ (Takeaway) at Connexion @ Nexus, Bangsar South on July 31, 2015.
The one-day conference, to be held from 9am to 7pm, is expected to house around 500 participants, covering a wide range of groups such as aspiring entrepreneurs, business experts, vendors, exhibitors, and potential business partners and customers.
At the conference-cum-exhibition, the participants will get acquainted with the strategy, operational discipline and people-management skills of currently successful F&B entrepreneurs.
Some notable names among the speaker line-up are Rina Abdullah, founder of The Serai Group; Cameron Cheah, founder of Sushi Tei; Emmanuel Stroobant, of the TV series ‘Chef in Black’; Gaik Wong, founder of The Chicken Rice Shop; and Benjamin Yong, founder of the BIG Group.
For that one day, the Companies Commission of Malaysia will be setting up a booth for Takeaway participants to ask questions, get their documents in order and, if all goes well, be registered as a company owner on that same day.
BFM has also compiled a start-up kit covering a step-by-step business plan for all Takeaway attendees to walk away with.
The registration fee for one person is RM200, while a registered group of four persons and above are charged RM180 per person.
