LGB holds talks on incubator services

lgb groupLocal conglomerate LGB Group today hosted its first value-added programme to commemorate the new incubator and entrepreneurship programme at the Xcel Centre at its headquarters Menara LGB.

IT general manager of LGB’s subsidiary Exitra Sdn Bhd, Ian Lim, said the tier 3-compliant data centre, opened in January 2014, offers 1,200 square feet of free space out of a total of 3,000 square feet for tenants as well as the public.

The programme featured talks on Games Accelerator and Learn-Preneurs by Jezamin Abdul Razak of MDeC and Rani Wemel of LTT Global Communications Sdn Bhd respectively.

Speaking to reporters later, Lim said RM10 million was invested for the data centre, an MSC Malaysia Cybercentre which plans to develop technopreneur-driven programmes from ideation through innovation to business venture and acceleration.

LGB Group is involved in highway management, construction and engineering, property development and investment, as well as manufacturing.

Menara LGB is a new generation technologically sustainable 31-storey Grade A office tower located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
