The 24th National Real Estate Convention (NREC), to be held on Oct 21, will draw about 250 participants, driven by massive promotion and good support from sponsors. ‎The one-day convention would be hosted by the Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector Malaysia.

The association’s executive councillor Mani Usilappan said about 190 local industry players and foreign participants have registered for the conference.

“The convention will discuss the current challenging property market environment, including the possibility of property bubbles and also on tips for new developers, house buyers, tenants and investors,” he told a press conference today.

The convention would also discuss about the construction industry, including the high-speed rail, rapid transit system and infrastructure update for Greater KL, he added.

“This time, we will present hard data and analysis from practitioners and professionals to ascertain issues that have constantly been affecting the property market.

“They will share their perceptions based on analysis and advice they have given over the years and provide us with a review of this year’s market,” Mani said.
