The programme, which will held for the first time, aims to help raise the entrepreneurial skills to a higher level.
Prime Minister Najib Razak will officiate GREAT 2014 on Sept 17.
Mohd Irwan said GREAT 2014 would gather experts and movers from various industries like food, agriculture, technology, lifestyle, creative arts and women.
“It will be a platform for entrepreneurs who want to interact with those who are successful and investors and institutions that offer funding.
“One aspect we emphasise is the online business which has grown rapidly,” he told a media briefing after the soft launch of GREAT 2014 here today.
He said GREAT was a joint initiative between the government and private sector the help the nation become entrepreneurship oriented.
“It will become a good platform to teach, encourage and develop the nation’s entrepreneurs. Also, it will help them set up a business network, provide guidance in entrepreneurship, innovations and investment,” he said.
Mohd Irwan said for four days, the participants and visitors would also benefit from various workshops and lectures and share experience with successful entrepreneurs.
