The National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) is set to launch its annual flagship event, PIKOM Leadership Summit on 17 September at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.
Coming to its 6th edition, the summit themed “Breaching the New Frontiers in the Digital Age’ will feature a group of C-level speakers from multinational corporations (MNCs) to local corporations, said PIKOM in a statement today while adding that the event is expected to draw more than 250 senior level decision makers.
With strong speaker line-up and current topic, the one-day program will be packed with case studies from both multinationals and local companies.
Chief executives are expected to share their insights on topics such as changing of IT landscape in the digital age and journey of digital entrepreneurship in a series of panel discussion.
Among the key speakers are former minister and AirAsia chairman Rafidah Aziz, MDeC vice president for strategy Dan E Khoo, Silverlake Group executive chairman Go Peng Ooi, , TuneTalk CEO Jason Lo and Leaderonomics CEO Roshan Thiran.
In addition, the annual ICT Strategic Review 2014/2015 featuring leadership articles from movers and shakers of the industry on the same theme would be unveiled at the event as well.
Cheah Kok Hoong, the PIKOM Chairman urges chief executives in the country to take full advantage on this summit and seek to understand the emerging technology trend affecting both local and foreign businesses.

“This year, the summit will see a gathering of C-level with great insights on what’s coming in the digital space. Moreover, the topics were carefully researched by PIKOM to ensure they are highly relevant to the current marketplace,” said Cheah, expressing hope that local businesses would realise the driving force of technology in this digital age and be ready to leverage on the next wave.
