Panpages Digital, together with Google and Alibaba.com, are set to host Digital SME Day Convention on September 10, 2014 at the Sunway Convention Centre in Sunway Pyramid.
Themed “Big Presence, Global Reach”, the event seeks to share with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia on how to harness the power of internet in online marketing and cloud computing. SME Day 2014 will see interesting presentations and informative panel discussions on the subject.
Among others, entrepreneurs attending would gain insight on how to achieve a huge online presence and global reach with solid online strategies and effective solutions from a range of speakers and internet practitioners who will share their experiences and knowhow during the event.
“Internet is a disruptive force. If it is harnessed properly, it can be the best tool an SME can have,” said PanPages CEO Fong Wai Leong. “There are winners in the story of the internet.”
“We will share their success stories during the day as we have invited the best speakers on the subject and a few of our customers,” said Fong further. “Our supporters, Google and Alibaba.com, the giants of our time, will share their views on how an SME can maneuver in the online world. Their insights are invaluable.”
The convention, set to be a full-day event, is expected to attract more than 1,000 SMEs. It will cover topics ranging from internet marketing, mobility to cloud computing. Companies interested in internet marketing and cloud computing are welcome to join the convention, according to PanPages.
Fong added that the goal is to bring together the best minds to provide tips on internet marketing tools as size does not matter on the internet.
“Size does not matter on the internet,” said Fong, who encourages SMEs to attend the convention. “The winning factor is how an SME can take advantage of the power of the internet.”
One of the many highlights of the convention is the display of the actual Google Street View car in the convention hall, said PanPages in a statement. This aims to provide participants with a better understanding on how Google Street View works and how they can incorporate the same concept in their business strategies.
