SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary SapuraKencana TMC Sdn Bhd (SKTMC) has made a further issuance of RM176 million in nominal value of unrated sukuk murabahah under the multi-currency sukuk programme.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, SapuraKencana said the proceeds raised from this issuance would be utilised to part refinance SKTMC’s existing financing.
“The unrated sukuk is structured based on the Syariah principle of commodity murabahah (via tawarruq arrangement),” it said.
RHB Investment Bank Bhd acted as the lead manager for the programme, it added.
