Malaysia’s central bank governor said on Thursday that she expects inflation to range between 2.5% and 3.5% in 2016.
“We have to monitor if the depreciation of the currency will translate to higher prices, but it does not look to be the case for now,” Zeti Akhtar Aziz said at a forum in Kuala Lumpur.
Inflation in December rose to 2.7% for a year earlier.
