Xin Hwa Holdings Bhd’s unit Xin Hwa Trading & Transport Sdn Bhd (XHTT) has had its contract renewed for a year by Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) in respect of the supply of prime movers and drivers for housekeeping and other ancillary yard movement services.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract value is dependent on the volume of services required by PTP, based on the agreed flat rate of RM9.20 per move.
“XHTT has been providing services to PTP since 2010 and business transactions in financial year 2015 contributed about RM5.54 million to the group revenue,” it said.
The contract starts on Jan 1, 2016 with an option for further renewal of one year at PTP’s sole discretion.
The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the group’s earnings and nett assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2016.
