The three mobile apps, MyBNM, BNM MyLINK and MyTabung, were developed with the aim to make use of the advancement in technology to equip more people with the knowledge, skills and tools to make smart and prudent financial decisions.

MyBNM is the official BNM mobile app that allows consumers to keep up with the latest financial news such as notices, announcements, speeches, interviews, press releases, financial fraud alerts and foreign exchange rates. Those who are seeking information on the latest developments in the Malaysian financial industry as well as globally can take advantage of the mobile app.

Another mobile app, BNM MyLINK, provides a direct interface between consumers and financial service providers in Malaysia. It provides a directory of conventional and Islamic banking, insurance and takaful companies as well as SME institutions. This allows users to connect directly with financial service providers to make enquiries, obtain advice and address their complaints.

The third new app, MyTabung, is used to create a personal or household budget. Individuals can capture incomes, savings and recurring expenses with an on-the-spot display of the user’s financial standing and spending patterns. Financial advice and budgeting tips are also obtainable to help guide consumers in practicing prudence in their financial management.

Available in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, these apps can be downloaded for free from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
